Actor Shah Rukh Khan has taken his last release film – Zero to China. The Aanand L Rai-directorial is going to close the Beijing International Film Festival 2019 and SRK is hopeful that at least the audience in China will like the film. Zero was a super dud at the Indian Box Office when it released in December last year. Despite having a stunning starcast with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma joining Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, the film couldn’t impress the audience back home. However, the superstar is keeping his fingers crossed in Beijing now. Also Read - Shah Rukh Khan Responds to Tom Hiddleston aka Loki's 'Bollywood = SRK' Comment: You are Kind, God of Mischief
In an interview with China Global Network (CGTN), SRK said that he didn’t watch the film after it released in India because of the kind of response it got from the audience. The actor revealed that it is after three whole months that he will be watching Zero and this time, he wants to know what went wrong with the film. He said he ‘felt bad’ when Zero failed and while it didn’t make him feel depressed, he kept wondering what could have possibly gone wrong with the film. Shah Rukh Khan was quoted saying, “When you make a film like that for three years and it goes wrong… you get not depressed or anything but…I didn’t want to see it. I am going to see it after three months. Maybe I will be able to figure out when I am away what went wrong with it.” Also Read - Dance Deewane 3: Sidharth Shukla-Madhuri Dixit Recreate 'Aur Paas' Scene From Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Fans Go 'OMG'
The actor also talked about the warm welcome he received in China. He said when he walked out, people screamed and he couldn’t believe that they were doing that for him. SRK said he thought people were getting excited upon seeing something or someone else and not him. He was quoted saying, “When I walked out, suddenly they screamed… and for a moment I thought they were doing it for something else or someone else. Now I have gotten to know that they were from Xinjiang.” Also Read - ‘It’s Very Bloody Unfair’: Anubhav Sinha on Kartik Aaryan’s Ouster From Films
