Actor Shah Rukh Khan has been the face of Farhan Akhtar‘s Don franchise. However, seems like the third film in the franchise has to do away with the presence of the superstar. If the latest media reports have anything to go by, then SRK might have made another big decision by stepping out of Don 3 due to reasons best known to him. Mumbai Mirror has reported that the actor, whose last film Zero, tanked at the Box Office, has stepped out of Don 3 due to personal reasons. The report adds that this decision by the actor has allegedly made the producer of the film, Zoya Akhtar, reach out to his favourite star – Ranveer Singh. SRK was also in the news lately for opting out of the much-awaited Rakesh Sharma biopic. The film titled as Saare Jahaan Se Achcha was earlier being done by Aamir Khan. However, the actor recommended SRK’s name to the makers and the latter even agreed to be a part of it. However, it is believed that after the failure of Zero last year, Shah Rukh consciously decided to not take up another space film and therefore, moved beyond the Prakash Kovelamudi-directorial.
