Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is riding high on success after his latest release Simmba featuring actors Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan crossed Rs 200 crore at the box office. Speculations of his rift with superstar Shah Rukh Khan made headlines after Dilwale underperformed at the box office. In his recent interview, the ace director talked about it and stated that there is nothing like that. He added that if this news was true then he would have never worked with SRK’s company in Simmba. While talking to Zoom TV, he said, “Not really. He further added, “So, agar aisa kuch hoga (his alleged fight with SRK) then why would I work there. There’s nothing like that. Nothing. As Rohit has cleared the air, his fans would like to see him work with SRK again. Before Dilwale, they collaborate for Chennai Express. The movie performed well at the box office.
On a related note, Simmba is now storming towards Rs 225 crore. The team recently celebrated the success at Karan Johar’s residence. The latter bankrolled the project. Rohit along with other B-town stars met PM Narendra Modi recently and the pictures went viral on the social media. The director will be collaborating with Akshay Kumar for the first time for his next project, Suryanvanshi. SRK, on the other hand, will soon start working on Rakesh Sharma biopic.
