Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre Behl has been diagnosed with high-grade cancer. The actress is currently undergoing treatment for the same in New York. The news came as a shock not just to us, also to Bollywood celebrities. The entire film fraternity is sending out their love and support to Sonali. Host of celebrities including, Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Dia Mirza, Ileana D’Cruz, Manish Malhotra, Aftab Shivdasani, Kajol and Karisma Kapoor among other have wished the actress a speedy recovery. Now, Sonali’s friend Divya Dutta has penned a heartfelt message for her. Taking it to her Twitter handle, she shared her piece of writing for her in the daily and wrote, “Tribune today. This one is for you @iamsonalibendre . My first friend in the industry. Love you loads always.” In the lenthy post, she said, “As we got to know each other I realized how simple she was. Simple yet very confident. A winner all the way, and she knew that. When we sat together we would discuss our experiences in the industry. We both came from protective backgrounds but I was vulnerable and apprehensive but she was clear and confident and a fighter. For the unversed, on July 4, Sonali Bendre released an official statement about her condition on her social media handles. The statement read, “Sometimes, when you least expect it, life throws you a curveball. I have recently been diagnosed with a high grade cancer that has metastised, which we frankly did not see coming. A niggling pain led to some tests, which led to this unexpected diagnosis.  My family and close friends have rallied around me, providing the best support system that anyone can ask for.  I am very blessed and thankful for each of them.”
