Student of The Year 2: Alia Bhatt to Feature in ‘Hook up’ Song With Tiger Shroff, Actors Reveal Over Hilarious Conversation

Alia Bhatt will be featuring in the 'hook up' song from Student of The Year 2 with Tiger Shroff.

Alia Bhatt, who made her debut with Student of The Year is all set to return in the sequel with a special song titled ‘Hook up’ with Tiger Shroff. Karan Johar treated Alia’s fans with a picture of the actor and announced ‘the return of the student’.

Sharing the picture on Twitter, Karan wrote, “THE RETURN OF THE STUDENT! Things are about to heat up! Alia Bhatt, Hook Up song.” In the picture, Alia can be seen donning a backless purple dress. With hair flying, Alia posed for the camera and looked stunning as always. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see Alia in the second installment of the film.

A while later, Tiger took to his Twitter handle to share a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation between him and Alia, hinting the release date of the song. Later Alia confirmed the news as she posted her picture and wrote, “See you Tuesday Tiger Shroff, Hook Up Song”.

Earlier the makers released two tracks from the film – ‘The Jawaani Song’ and ‘Mumbai Dilli Di Kudiyaan’.

‘The Jawaani Song’ is a rock and roll number featuring Tiger Shroff and Aditya Seal in a sporty look and Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey. The song is a recreated version of the song ‘Gili-Gili Akkha’ from the 1972 film ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani’.

‘Mumbai Dilli Di Kudiyaan,’ on the other hand is a peppy dance track where the trio can be seen grooving in Indian attires. Tiger Shroff can also be seen flaunting his dance skills in the song.

Directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions, Student of The Year 2 stars Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, Tara Sutaria, Samir Soni, Farida Jalal, Rohit Roy, and Mallika Dua. The film is slated to release on May 10, 2019. This is Tara and Ananya’s debut film and fans cannot wait to see the two on the Silver Screen.

Tiger is currently busy with the shooting of an untitled film where he will be seen with Hrithik Roshan and Vaani Kapoor. The film is being directed by Siddharth Anand and is said to clash with Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh’s Marjaawaan at the Box Office.
