Sui Dhaaga: Anushka Sharma And Varun Dhawan Give 40 Days To Promote Their Upcoming Film

Helmed by Dum Laga Ke Haisha’s Sharat Katariya, Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan starrer Sui Dhaaga – Made in India is one of the most anticipated films of 2018. Bankrolled by Yash Raj Films, Sui Dhaga is a story of pride and self-reliance, rooted in the heart of India. Varun and Anushka, who have finally wrapped up Sui Dhaga, are now gearing up for their upcoming release and reportedly the actors have decided to give 40 days to promote their film. Yes, you read that right. Reportedly, Varun and Anushka have asked their respective management teams to keep aside 40 full days in their diaries to promote their September 28 release.

Varun and Anushka, who will be seen on screen together for the very first time in their long career of acting, play the role of a small town couple – Mauji, a tailor and Mamta, an embroider. In a statement to DNA, a source informed, “Varun and Anushka saw the first cut of the trailer this week and both of them were overwhelmed. They want to take the movie’s heartfelt message to as many people as possible. While most actors allocate just about 20 days for promotions these days, they are both giving 40 days each because they are super-confident about the film.”

Talking about Varun and Anushka, Maneesh told the website, “Varun and Anushka are exceptional performers and they have outdone themselves in Sui Dhaaga. They had believed in the core message of the film since the day we narrated it to them and they have told us that they are eagerly looking forward to sharing their conviction with the audiences. On the professional front, Anushka will soon be seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in Aanand L. Rai’s Zero, which is slated to release on December 21, 2018. Meanwhile, Varun, who was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s October, will soon start prepping for Remo D’Souza’s dance film alongside Katrina Kaif, which will hit the screens on November 9, 2019.
