Designer Sussanne Khan was present with her BFFs Sonali Bendre and Gayatri Joshi at Neha Dhupia‘s show recently. Among many things that she talked about, her revelation about how she fell for her ex-husband Hrithik Roshan is interesting. When asked why didn’t she ever feel like being an actor in Bollywood considering she belongs to an affluent film family, Sussanne revealed her only fascination with Bollywood came from Hrithik. She said the actor was already a superstar for her even before he became a major movie star overnight after the release of Kaho Na… Pyaar Hai in 2000. Sussane told Neha that she was not interested in coming to the movies and went abroad for studies. However, when she came back, she found herself bitten by the love bug by a man who was on his way to sparkle on-screen. She said, “There was no question of not going in designing. She called Hrithik her biggest support system in the same interaction. Sussanne gave credit to Hrithik in fulfilling her fatherly duties well. She said even though they aren’t married, they are good friends. She said, “I have a support system in Hrithik. It’s not a marriage, but we are friends. Going on about her career, Sussanne narrated how she was totally dedicated to the world of interior designing ever since she was 5-years-old. She revealed to the host that she had a collection of architectural digest magazines at her place and she used to accompany her designer mother to her sites every now and then. Sussanne added that she was ‘obsessed with that world’ and always wanted to be a part of it.
