Swara who has been in the film industry for almost a decade now was recently asked about the existence of casting couch in Bollywood and without being hesitant, Swara shared her bitter experience, with Indian Express. Discussing the much-debated issue, Swara revealed how a Bollywood executive, who claimed to be a manager of a famous filmmaker, tried to get cozy with her and kiss her during a work meeting. As reported by the Indian Express, Swara was constantly asked about her residential address and soon when she sensed something, she decided to wrap it up. Swara was quoted saying, “When I got out this guy actually tried to kiss my ear and said ‘I love you baby’ and I kind of did that (gestures shirking away).” She questioned, “So, he got a mouthful of my hair so I was just like… so that kind of stuff happens. It’s all a part of the casting couch, right?.” Earlier during an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Swara talked about being harassed and stalked by a filmmaker when the actor was new to the industry. Mumbai Mirror quoted Swara saying, “He stalked me during the day and called me through the night. I was asked to go to his hotel room on the pretext of discussing the scene and would find him drinking. During the first week itself, he started talking about love and sex and one night, arrived in my room, drunk, and asked to be hugged.
