Filmmaker and actor Satish Kaushik has locked the script of Tere Naam sequel. The first film was a Box Office hit and featured Salman Khan in one of his most popular roles – Radhe. Kaushik revealed to news agency IANS that he is making the sequel to Tere Naam and has finalised the script already. The director said that he hasn’t given a thought to the casting of the film since the team was busy writing the script of the film. However, the decision will be taken soon. Kaushik also talked about the story of the new film. He revealed that the story of Tere Naam sequel will be centred around a gangster and will be set in North India. He was quoted by the agency saying, “We have just locked the script of Tere Naam sequel and it’s a love story revolving around a gangster. It will be set in North India.” He added, “It will take us a while to think about the cast. Tere Naam, released in the year 2003, cemented Salman’s position as one of the reigning superstars in the industry. The film was directed by Satish Kaushik and launched Bhumika Chawla in the movie industry. It was written by Bala and Jainendra Jain. Tere Naam was also a part of the popular culture as Salman’s middle-parted hairdo created a rage among the audience. Even his feroza bracelet became a fashion statement among the Bhai-fans. The songs of the film – Lagan Lagi, Odhni, Tumse Milna and others – were chartbusters.
