Here are the latest Box Office figures of Ajay Devgn's Total Dhamaal
Actor Ajay Devgn starrer Total Dhamaal has raked in a good business of Rs 8.75 crore on Tuesday, February 27. The film now stands at a total of Rs 81 crore, which is fantastic considering it faced a challenge with well-performing Gully Boy at the Box Office. The film has already emerged as Ajay’s biggest non-festive opener and the coming weekend is expected to see it crossing the benchmark of Rs 100 crore.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the latest Box Office figures of Total Dhamaal. He posted, “#TotalDhamaal shows a solid hold on weekdays… Emerges a big favourite in mass circuits/single screens… Set for a healthy, successful run in those circuits… Fri 16.50 cr, Sat 20.40 cr, Sun 25.50 cr, Mon 9.85 cr, Tue 8.75 cr. Total: ₹ 81 cr. India biz.” (sic)

The Indra Kumar’s directorial crossed Rs 50 crore on day 3 while it reached past Rs 75 crore on day 5 from its release. Now, earning more than Rs 90 crore in its first week is going to be a cakewalk for the film.

Total Dhamaal is a jungle comedy which also features Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Johny Lever and Sanjay Mishra in important roles. The film couldn’t receive good reviews from critics. However, it instantly appealed to the families and kids in the country. The collection is expected to rise at the weekend.
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn seems to be on a roll with the choice of his films. The actor is usually associated with commercial entertainers. After giving one of the biggest grossers last year in Raid, the actor is now gearing up for his most ambitious project till date — Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior, a biopic on Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare. The film is being made on a huge budget and Ajay plays the titular character. It also features Kajol and Saif Ali Khan in important roles. Ajay also has Chanakya, directed by Neeraj Pandey. He is working with Luv Ranjan in two films — De De Pyaar De and an untitled one which also features Ranbir Kapoor.
