Praising Indra Kumar‘s terrific sense of judging the audience’s pulse, he made another tweet and wrote, “#Dil, #Beta, #Raja, #Ishq, #Masti, #Dhamaal… Indra Kumar has delivered a string of hits… With #GrandMasti, he delivered his first ₹ 100 cr film and now, with #TotalDhamaal, Indu ji – as he is affectionately called – has again proved that he knows the pulse of the audience.” (sic)

Total Dhamaal was one of the most anticipated comedy films of the year.  It boasts off a stunning star-cast that includes Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, and Johny Lever apart from Ajay. The film is set in a jungle and is essentially a treasure hunt story. Despite receiving bad reviews from the critics, Total Dhamaal got a thumbs up from the audience. The film is being especially liked by the kids and the family audience.

Earlier, commenting on critics usually calling films like Total Dhamaal ‘brainless’, Ajay told PTI, “I don’t know why they say it is brainless. It is not easy to make people laugh. Today in our country or all over the world, comedians are the biggest stars. Like here in India, we have Kapil Sharma. It needs intelligence to make people laugh, you just can’t make faces and make people laugh.”
