Varun Dhawan who has been busy with Remo D’Souza’s upcoming film was recently injured while shooting for a dance sequence. He had injured his knee but still the actor managed to continue with work with an injured knee. A source quoted to Mumbai Mirror, “The team was shooting a celebratory song with Sonam Bajwa in Amritsar. On the final day which began at 7 am and ended at 2 am, Varun was required to shoot three dance pieces with three different dance crews — V unbeatable, Urban crew and N house crew. After performing one particular step, a knee drop, around 15 times, he ended up with a busted knee and severe leg cramps. Now, that he’s back in Mumbai, he’s tending to the injury with his physio”. Post his injury, Varun took to his Instagram to share a picture choreographer Sushant Khatri and captioned it, “Nation of domination 👟. [keep working through the pain]#3prep.” This proofs that nothing can stop the actor from working. He proved his dedication to his work through this picture. Last week, the entire team of Remo’s film were off to Amritsar to shoot the first schedule of the film. They will be heading to London for the next schedule on February 8. The film also stars Stree actor Shraddha Kapoor. This will not be the first time that Varun, Shraddha and Remo are working together, as in the past the trio did take part in blockbuster movie ABCD 2.

When the movie was first announced, it was actress Katrina Kaif who had been chosen as the leading lady, but due to her prior engagements, she was replaced by Shraddha. Actress Nora Fatehi is the other star who will be joining the gang.

The actor has also wrapped up the schedule of Kalank which also features Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit and Sonakshi Sinha in pivotal roles.
