Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania starrer Veere Di Wedding has been collecting a lot of moolah at the Box Office ever since its release on June 1. The film has surpassed all expectations and become the first of its kind film, headlined by four women, to have crossed the Rs 50 crore mark within just 6 days of its release. On Day 6, it raked in another Rs 4.87 crore at the ticket window. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 52.90 crore. The film has been doing exceptionally well thanks to the word of mouth publicity and the good reviews coming its way.
However, trade analysts feel that the collections will start getting affected from today ie June 7 as Rajinikanth‘s Kaala and Chriss Pratt’s Jurassic World : Fallen Kingdom will hit screens today. Trade analyst and senior film critic, Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the box office collections, the current trends and how the business is likely to be affected in the coming days.
