Vicky Kaushal Speaks of Wanting His Roles to be Complicated as he Features on Magazine Cover

Vicky is still basking in the success of his movie Uri: The Surgical Strike.

Actor Vicky Kaushal is on a high with the humongous success of his latest movie Uri: The Surgical Strike, which is still marching on full steam at the box office. After receiving a lot of praise for his role in the movie, Vicky has now featured on the cover of GQ India’s March 2019 issue. In his interaction with the magazine, we also get to know a bit about him and what he likes.

Vicky, who looked suave on the cover, was dressed in a multi-coloured sweater and rust coloured pants. Looking all business-like, he shared the picture on his Instagram page with just a simple, “Hello, March!” as its caption.

During his chat with the magazine, Vicky revealed a few things about his style, and how in real life he is person who takes things easy while looking to experiment and do complicated roles on-screen.

“I’m a safe person. I’m that guy who has a favourite ice cream flavour, who’ll go to the same ice cream parlour and order that one flavour he likes. When it comes to fashion, I’m more of a solids and stripes guy. If I even feel like experimenting, it will be with shoes or sunglasses – I’m a sucker for white sneakers. With my roles, though, I’m experimental: I don’t like simple things, steady things, easy things. I want to make it complicated. I want layers, I want colours, I want shades,” he said in the interview with the magazine.

Since his debut with Masaan, Vicky has explored diverse subjects and genres of films which have given him a chance to showcase his versatility through projects like Love Per Square Foot, Sanju, Lust Stories and Uri: The Surgical Strike.
