Actor Vidya Balan says that she is amazed to see the hard work that has gone behind making Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The actor revealed that she watched the film recently and was blown away to see the action sequences in the Kangana Ranaut starrer. Vidya has featured on the cover of Filmfare this month and it was in her interview with the magazine that she talked about the film that released on January 25. Vidya said that she found the action sequences in Manikarnika one of the best in Hindi cinema. She was quoted by the magazine saying, “I watched Manikarnika in the theatre and I was blown away by the amount of hard work that has gone into it. It’s there for everyone to see and the war sequences are among the best that I have seen in any Indian film. Interestingly, Vidya’s last film, the NTR biopic was directed by Krish aka Krishna Jagarlamudi, the same person who accused Kangana of hijacking Manikarnika from him. Meanwhile, in her latest statement to the media, Kangana accused the Hindi film industry of not coming out in her support in the entire Manikarnika debacle. She said that no one cared to support her or promote the film. She even targeted actor Alia Bhatt and called her ‘Karan Johar’s puppet’ saying that she went all out to promote Raazi for her but Alia never came ahead to even speak about her film anywhere. Director Zoya Akhtar reacted to this and said that she’s sorry for not being able to understand Kangana’s accusations when most people in the industry appreciate her craft of acting. Recently, even actor Sushmita Sen praised Kangana and her talent.
