Actors like Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan, and others reportedly paid crores to finalize their divorces.

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan got married in 2000, but after 14 years, they decided to part ways and divorced in 2014. The couple has two sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan. According to media reports, Hrithik and Sussanne’s divorce is considered one of Bollywood’s most expensive. As reported by The Times of India, Sussanne initially requested Rs 400 crore as alimony, and the final settlement was reportedly around Rs 380 crore.

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s love story began in the early 1980s, and they eventually grew close and started dating. Reena even made a brief appearance in the song Papa Kehte Hain from Aamir’s debut film, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. In 1986, the couple secretly eloped and married in court, with Aamir at 21 and Reena at 19. They went on to have two children, Ira and Junaid. After 16 years together, they separated in 2002. Reports from DNA and News18 suggest that Aamir paid Rs 50 crore to Reena Dutta as alimony.

Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan

Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan got married on December 12, 1998. However, the couple parted ways in May 2017. According to DNA, Malaika received a divorce settlement estimated between Rs 10-15 crore.

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh

Another iconic Bollywood couple, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, married in 1991 but separated in 2004 after 13 years of marriage. In an interview, Saif spoke about the financial aspect of his divorce, saying, “I’m supposed to give Amrita Rs 5 crore, of which I’ve already given her approximately Rs 2.5 crore. Also, I’m paying Rs 1 lakh per month until my son turns 18. I’m not Shah Rukh Khan. I don’t have that kind of money. I’ve promised her I’ll pay up the rest, and I will, even if I have to slog till I drop dead.”

Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani

Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani were married for 17 years before they separated in 2017. As part of their divorce settlement, Farhan reportedly made a one-time alimony payment to Adhuna. Additionally, she received their 10,000-square-foot bungalow in Bandstand, Mumbai, named Vipassana, according to Firstpost.
