Legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra passed away on Monday afternoon, aged 89. According to the latest developments, Dharmendra suffered from prolonged illness. Dharmendra’s health deteriorated earlier when he was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit on the afternoon of 10th November 2025, and later put on a ventilator.

Dharmendra dies at 89, days before his 90th birthday

According to news reports by IANS, Dharmendra passed away at 89. The Deol family confirmed that Dharmendra was earlier responding to treatment and recovering when he was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. On 10 November, Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital, where he was in the ICU for several days when he reportedly felt short of oxygen.

The 89-year-old veteran star featured in over 300 films in his long cinematic career. After the tragic passing away of the Sholay actor, Bollywood celebrities have started arriving at Dharmendra’s residence. Recently, a video of Dharmendra’s daughter Esha Deol making her way to the cremation center has caught everyone’s attention.
