Box Office Report: Kartik Aaryan starrer Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 does good business

Director Luv Ranjan’s Pyaa Ka Punchnama 2 hit the movie screens last Friday and has managed to mint Rs 22.40 crore over the weekend, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted. On the day of its release, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 box office collections stood at a whopping take of Rs 7.32 crore worldwide. On the domestic front the movie collected Rs 6.8 crore which is considered a a good start. The collections on weekend further escalated – Saturday (Rs 7.60 crore), Sunday ( Rs. 8 crore +). Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 released alongside Wedding Pullav and Dimag Ka Dahi. ALSO READ: Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 movie review

The basic storyline of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 remains the same. You will probably die laughing as there are some hilarious dilaogues and one-liners. That 7 minute long monologue by Kartik Aryan will totally leave you splits! Sunny Singh and Omkar Kapoor fit perfectly into their characters and have performed fairly well.

However, if compared to the prequel, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 is nothing but just an average movie. We do not like how the director has stereotyped women. Sure, women can be tough to deal with, but hey, men have their own way of complicating things too! The fact that only women are perceived that way is absolutely disappointing.
