Brahmarakshas: Why Pavitra Rishta actor Parag Tyagi is the perfect choice to play monster on the new Zee TV show

Brahmarakshas premiered on Zee Tv on August 6, i.e. Saturday.

Zee Tv’s new show Brahmarakshas took off last weekend. The most anticipated horror show’s promos has been sending chills down everyone’s spine. While we knew that the scary monster is after the newly-wed brides for their life, we were not aware who is playing the title role in the telly show. On Saturday, Brahmarakshas premiered on Zee Tv and it was revealed that Parag Tyagi is playing the evil demon. Yes, the same guy who played Archana aka Ankita Lokhande’s sweet brother in Pavitra Rishta. Parag is regularly seen in Ekta’s TV shows. He was last seen in Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do. He also participated in Nach Baliye with his wife Shefali Zariwala.

According to reports, Rahul Dev and Nikitin Dheer were also considered for the role of Brahmarakshas. But it was Parag who got finalized for the role. For the uninitiated, Brahmarakshas is the story of a man who turned into a monster after he newly wedded wife ditches him for his money and throws him into a valley behind his palace. Since then, he is after every bride, who wears sindoor, paayal and chooda. Aham Sharma and Krystle D’Souza plays lead role in this Zee TV show.
