BTS member Jin has been discharged from military service after completing his mandatory training. On Wednesday, new photos surfaced on social media capturing Jin’s special reunion with the rest of the band, who were eagerly waiting for him outside the premises. The emotional moment saw the members embracing each other, with RM even performing a saxophone rendition of their hit song “Dynamite.”

In a new video shared on fan pages, Jungkook, RM, J-Hope, Jimin, and V gathered at the entrance gate to welcome Jin as he exited the military facility. Jin, still in his military uniform, paused to give a salute before being greeted by RM, who played their Grammy-nominated song “Dynamite” on the saxophone.

However, Suga was notably absent from the reunion. Moments later, BTS’s official X account posted a group photo celebrating Jin’s discharge. The picture showed the members sitting on a couch, flashing peace signs, with a white cake and muffins on the table before them. A sign on the wall behind them read, “Jin is back.”

BTS ARMY’s Reactions:

Fans were thrilled by the reunion. One fan commented, “Home isn’t a place, it’s a feeling. This is it.” Another added, “Welcome back my beautiful Jin BTS family.” A third fan noted, “BTS tweet on their personal account for the first time in almost exactly six months to declare ‘JIN IS BACK’ and reunite as seven with their pre-approved time off to celebrate the end of Jin’s enlistment.” Another comment read, “We missed you guys!”

Jin enlisted in the military in December 2022. He began his 18 months of service at a front-line South Korean boot camp in Yeoncheon, near the tense border with North Korea. Jin underwent five weeks of basic military training with other conscripts before being assigned to an army unit.
