Cannes 2016: Balika Vadhu famed Avika Gor makes her first red carpet appearance at the International Film Festival!

TV actor, Manish Raisinghani, who plays Avika Gor’s on-screen husband in Sasural Simar Ka also accompanied her to the Cannes International Film Festival.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan & Sonam Kapoor left behind their marks at the 69^th Cannes International Film Festival. Following their footsteps several other actresses made appearances at the famed festival. One of it includes our very own little Anandi aka Avika Gor. The telly actress has come a long way since her debut in Balika Vadhu and we must say she looks way to beautiful and hot now. Avika turned up at Cannes 2016 in a blue oneshoulder floor length gown. She chose to keep her look simple and opted for minimal accessories. She sported soft curls on her short hairs that complimented her whole look. TV actor, Manish Raisinghani, who plays Avika’s on-screen husband in Sasural Simar Ka also accompanied her to the Cannes International Film Festival. The duo walked the red carpet to watch the trailer of a French film, Juste La Fin Du Monde (It’s only the end of the world). The movie is directed by Xavier Dolan.  Manish looked spruce in a black tuxedo paired with red bow tie as he posed for the camera with his reel life biwi. Avika was a head turner at the event but failed to get as much attention as Aishwarya and Sonam got.

The trailer and poster of Avika Gor’s short film Ankahee Baatein was unveiled on 17 May at the gala event. The telly actors also shared a few pictures of Cannes 2016 in her Instagram account. The short film was selected for the Short Film Corner. It stars Manish and small screen actress Barkha Bisht. The Balika Vadhu girl is the creative director of the film, which is helmed by Manav Bhinder.
