Cannes 2018: Sonam Kapoor and Mahira Khan warmly greet each other at the red carpet

It was Day 7 of the Cannes Film Festival 2018 and day 1 for India’s Sonam Kapoor and Pakistan’s Mahira Khan at the French Riviera. The two actresses were slated to walk the red carpet on the same day and we were waiting for the two of them in one frame. Our wish had finally been granted. Mahira and Sonam, both brand ambassadors and representing the same beauty brand at the international event, made an entry one after the other on the red carpet.

And once the photo ops were done, the two stepped towards each other to greet one another. Sonam even kissed her fellow actor, while Mahira blushed at this expression of affection. It was a picture perfect moment and one that needs to be framed ASAP. This one is truly the highlight of the Cannes 2018 this year. Considering that the two beauties will be spending the day tomorrow at the French Riviera and walking the red carpet again on May 15, we are hoping to see some more candid pictures and selfies of the two hanging out together. Won’t it be fun?

About what the actresses wore for their day 1 at the Cannes 2018 red carpet, Sonam chose a Ralph & Russo ensemble while Mahira Khan’s outfit got stuck at the customs.
