A police case has been filed against event organisers after actress Nidhhi Agerwal was pushed and shoved during the song launch of Prabhas’ film The Raja Saab.

Actor Nidhhi Agerwal was caught in a frightening situation during a public event in Hyderabad when an overwhelming crowd surrounded her. The incident took place during the song launch of Sahana Sahana from her upcoming film, The Raja Saab at a popular mall, leaving the actor visibly shaken.

Initially meant to be a celebratory event, the situation quickly spiralled out of control as fans rushed toward the actor in large numbers. Videos from the venue later surfaced online, showing the chaos and raising serious concerns about crowd management and safety at public film promotions.

What happened at The Raja Saab song launch?

The song launch was scheduled to begin at 5 pm on Wednesday. However, like many film events, it was delayed by several hours. By the time the event began, a massive crowd had already gathered inside the mall.

As Nidhhi Agerwal arrived, fans surged forward to take selfies and get close to her. In the process, she was pushed and shoved repeatedly. Videos show her trying to protect herself while members of her team attempted to shield her from the crowd. Some individuals were also seen trying to touch her as security struggled to control the situation. Nidhhi appeared visibly distressed as she was escorted away and taken to her car. She has not yet released an official statement regarding the incident.

The legal action

Following the viral spread of the videos, police registered a case on Thursday against the mall management and the event organisers. Officials stated that the event was conducted without prior permission, despite inviting a celebrity and attracting a large crowd. According to police, holding such an event without proper approval and security arrangements posed a serious risk to public safety. An official from the local police station confirmed that action was taken against those responsible for organising the event without clearance.
