Ishqbaaz is perhaps one of the most popular TV shows today. Starring Nakuul Mehta, Surbhi Chandna, Kunal Jaisingh, Shrenu Parikh, Leenesh Mattoo and Mansi Srivastava in pivotal roles, the show is one of the most watched shows on Indian Television today. Well, there’s a new star who is expected to enter the show. Well, it’s none other than Nikitin Dheer. For those of you who don’t know he is, Nikitin is the actor who received a lot of appreciation for his character ‘Tangabali’ in the superhit Rohit Shetty film, Chennai Express, that starred Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead. He is quite a known face in the television and film industry. Not just Chennai Express, he has also worked in Bollywood films like Jodha Akbar, Dabangg 2 and many other films. As far as television is concerned, the actor made his debut with Nagarjun – Ek Yoddha and now he will be seen in Star Plus’ daily soap, Ishqbaaz.
Reports indicate that Nikitin will be essaying the role of an antagonist in the show who will be seen creating a lot of problems in Shivaay aka Nakuul’s and Anika aka Surbhi’s life. While the star is yet to give a confirmation on the same, we are extremely excited to hear the news and can’t wait to see him on the show. Well, for the uninitiated, Nikitin’s wife, Kratika Sengar is also a famous television actress. She was earlier seen in Zee Tv’s Punar Vivaah and Jhansi Ki Rani and is now currently seen in Color Tv’s popular show, Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki. The two first met on the sets of Nikitin’s father, veteran actor Pankaj Dheer’s directorial debut, My Father Godfather and gradually fell in love. On Nikitin’s birthday, earlier this year, Kratika shared a heart warming message on her social media account for her husband. She wrote, “Ur Not just my husband my friend my confidant. U r my life who gives me strength power who is always by my side no matter what. Happy Birthday My Darling. Love u @nikitindheer.” Sweet, isn’t it?
