Christina Aguilera delivers a baby girl; discloses daughter’s name

Four-time Grammy winning singer Christina Aguilera has named her newborn daughter Summer Rain Rutler.

Los Angeles, Aug 19: Four-time Grammy winning singer Christina Aguilera has named her newborn daughter Summer Rain Rutler. Aguilera, who welcomed her first child with fiancé Matthew Rutler Aug 16, took to Twitter Sunday to share the name, reports eonline.com. “So proud to welcome our beautiful daughter Summer Rain Rutler into the world,” Aguilera tweeted.

The couple’s newborn daughter joins Max, 6, the singer’s son from her previous marriage to music exec Jordan Bratman. The diva did not disclose other birth details, such as her daughter’s weight or measurement.  Aguilera delivered her daughter at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center here. Her pregnancy was revealed in February, a week after she announced her engagement to Rutler, a movie producer.
