It came as a surprise to many Mollywood lovers when picture of Bhavana’s engagement ceremony went viral yesterday. For those you who don’t know, Bhavana and her long time beau Naveen (Kannada producer) exchanged rings yesterday in a secret ceremony. The hush-hush affair took place at her residence. The actress revealed to a leading Malayalam daily why she kept her ring ceremony a secret affair and also confirmed that she would be getting hitched this year.
Yesterday (March 9) evening, Bhavana’s engagement picture was all over social media. In the picture we saw her industry buddies Manju Warrier and Samyuktha Varma part of the occasion. However, the newly engaged actress said she wanted to inform everyone once her marriage happens. Yesterday she told Mathrubhumi, “I got engaged today. As I did not want the function to be publicised, I planned to conduct it secretly. Hence, the function was held at my house. I did not invite even my close friends and just informed them about the engagement. I thought about informing everyone when my marriage happens. However, the news became public.”
Bhavana and Naveen’s relationship was highly speculated ever since they met on the sets of ‘Romeo’ in the year 2012. However, they duo kept denying the fact that they were dating each other. But it was early this year when Bhavana’s mother revealed that her daughter’s marriage was already fixed by her late father G. Balachandran. The actress’ mother Pushpa had revealed to The New Indian Express, “Their marriage was fixed by Bhavana’s dad when he was alive. Bhavana has not revealed the wedding date but we are sure it’s going to be a dreamy affair. Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran took to Facebook to wish the actress.
