Confirmed! Jacqueline Fernandez To Star In The Remake Of The Girl On The Train

After Saif Ali Khan’s Hollywood remake, ‘Chef’, another Hollywood remake is soon to hit the screens, this time with Jacqueline Fernandez on board. Popular Hollywood flick ‘The Girl On The Train’ is being remade in Bollywood by filmmaker Ribhu, who also directed to Amitabh Bachchan’s Te3n. The original one had Emily Blunt in the lead and Jacqueline will do the same role in the Hindi remake. The film is also an adaptation of a bestseller novel with the same name. As reported in Mumbai Mirror, Jacqueline has been finalized for the film already.

Ribhu told the tabloid, “I have just finished the script.Jackie has come on board as the protagonist. While the novel had an ensemble cast, our film will revolve around her character. I have been looking forward to working with her and this seemed like a perfect project to collaborate. Talking about the preparation of the film as of now, he added, “The film will be set in a small town but the makers are yet to figure whether they will be filming in India or abroad. Ribhu and his team will begin their recce soon and will start prepping up with Jacqueline by the year-end.” Well, after the super success of Judwaa 2, Jacqueline is getting some of the best projects in the tinsel town.
