We had told you that Yeh Hai Mohabbatein couple Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya are thinking of a wedding date in July, either July 15 or around July 9 or 10. Well, according to the muhurat, the wedding date of the lovely couple has been now fixed at July 8, 2016! The Times of India reports that the wedding will not happen in Vivek’s hometown Chandigarh, but in Bhopal, which is Divyanka’s hometown. There will be a sangeet ceremony before the wedding, of course, but also a wedding reception later at Chandigarh on July 10.
TOI reports Vivek as saying, “Vivek says “The baraat will reach Bhopal on July 7 for the sangeet and the wedding is on July 8. We will leave for a reception in Chandigarh on July 10.” The couple also plans to have a reception in Mumbai. Says Divyanka, “It will be a traditional wedding and a very close knit affair as we want to keep it private.”
Earlier, Divyanka’s mother Neelam Tripathi told Dailybhaskar.com about the wedding, “Yes, the wedding date has been finalised…. The preparations have already begun and I am really looking forward to it. We have just started the preparations and I am sure till the wedding day, our preparations will not end. Vivek and Divyanka met on the sets of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, one of the most popular television shows on Indian television. Divyanka plays Ishita Bhalla on the show. The actress was earlier dating Ssharad Malhotra but the two split up last year. Then there were rumours of her being interested in Karan Patel, who plays her husband Raman Bhalla on the show.
But those were just rumours. Karan broke up with his longtime girlfriend Kamya Punjabi and got married to Ankita Bhargava instead and they have been doing good. But all our eyes are on Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya for now! Here’s wishing them a great married life ahead!
