Coolie Sees Major Dip in Box Office Numbers on Day 12

Rajinikanth’s film Coolie had a strong first week at the box office. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the gangster drama has now entered its second week of release. The film saw impressive earnings over the weekend, particularly on Saturday and Sunday. However, it witnessed a decline on the second Monday. Let’s take a look at how much it collected.

Coolie was released on August 14 and had a solid start with an opening of Rs 65 crore. On the second day, it collected Rs 54.75 crore, followed by Rs 39.5 crore on Saturday, the third day. Having crossed the Rs 100 crore mark by its second day, the film went on to earn Rs 229.65 crore in its first week.

The film’s earnings began to decline in the second week. However, it still performed well over the weekend. On Sunday (Day 11), Coolie collected Rs 11.35 crore. On the 12th day, according to the available data, the film earned only Rs 3 crore, bringing its net collection in India to Rs 260 crore.

Coolie is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Apart from Rajinikanth, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is also in an important role in it. Apart from him, stars like Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir, Upendra Rao and Sathyaraj are also an important part of the film.
