IMDb's Popular Indian Celebrities list for this week is out and we see Coolie director Lokesh Kanagaraj taking the top spot and Rajinikanth the second. They have surpassed Saiyaara actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda.

Coolie, starring Rajinikanth, was released on August 14 and has sent shockwaves through the IMDb Popular Indian Celebrities list, with director Lokesh Kanagaraj and Tamil superstar Rajinikanth now occupying the top two spots. They took over the spots that were given to Saiyaara director Mohit Suri and its stars Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda.

Rajinikanth taking over the spot is a significant shift considering that Saiyaara dominated the charts after its release on July 18. But now, it is Coolie movie that has broke all the records.

IMDb’s Popular Indian Celebrities list

IMDb’s Popular Indian Celebrities list for this week is out and we see Coolie director Lokesh Kanagaraj taking the top spot and Rajinikanth the second. Sridevi, whose birth anniversary was on 13 August, is in the third spot, while Saiyaara actor Ahaan Paday takes the fourth. Aamir Khan, who played a cameo as Dahaa in Coolie is in the seventh spot. In the ninth spot, we see Saiyaara actress Aneet Padda.

Coolie, the action thriller, opened to record-breaking numbers but, on day 6, has now started to witness dip in collections on weekdays. According to early estimates by entertainment tracking portal Sacnilk, the film’s cumulative earnings now stands at Rs 208.05 crore in India.

On Day 6, Tuesday, Coolie saw a sharp decline, marking the film’s lowest single-day business so far. The film earned Rs 1.4 crore across all languages, highlighting a dip after the extended Independence day weekend.
