Comedian and actor Kapil Sharma on Thursday announced that he has contributed Rs 50 lakhs to the Prime Minister’s relief fund set up to fight the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic, which has claimed over 21,000 lives globally. The comic took to social media to make the announcement and also urged people to stay home to prevent the spread of COVID-19. “It’s time to stand together with the ones who need us. Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan announced that they will donate. Pawan will contribute a sum of Rs 2 crores to the government’s relief fund. On the other hand, Charan will contribute Rs 70 lakh.
Baahubali actor Prabhas vowed to contribute Rs 1 crore Andhra Pradesh CM relief fund and Telangana CM relief fund.
