Dadasaheb Phalke award winner Daggubati Ramanaidu passes away at 78

Daggubati Ramaindu, Dadasaheb Phalke Award winner and Indian film producer, has passed away at the age of 78. He was in Hyderabad when he succumbed to cancer after a long battle with the disease.

Daggubati Ramaindu, Dadasaheb Phalke Award winner and Indian film producer, has passed away at the age of 78. He was in Hyderabad when he succumbed to cancer after a long battle with the disease. D Ramanaidu’s first reports of being diagnosed with prostate cancer surfaced in January 2014 when he was undergoing treatment for the disease in a private hospital in Hyderabad. The producer is survived by his two sons, Suresh Babu and Venkatesh Daggubati and his grandson, Rana. The death of the illustrated producer is spreading across the digital media as the film world expresses grief on the sad demise.
