Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat, who is rumoured to be dating underworld gangster Dawood Ibrahim, confirms that she is ready for the next chapter in her life. In a recent interview, she opened up about her marriage plans and what she is looking for in her partner.

While speaking to a news portal, Mehwish said that she is strongly thinks about getting married, “I have started to seriously think about marriage now, because my mother keeps saying it’s time to get married, so I’m considering it,” the actress said.

Also, when asked Mehwish about what kind of partner she is looking for, the actress shared, “He will be unlike anyone else.” Mehwish further stated that it is very difficult to find just one quality in a guy. She emphasised the ways he interacts with his family, how he handles his temperament are some of the important factors in her decision.

According to Pakistani media, Mehwish’s relationship with Dawood Ibrahim started after she was awarded Pakistan’s civilian honour of Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2019. The age difference between the two is 27 years. For the unversed, Dawood Ibrahim is the wanted criminal in India and is one of the chief accused in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts.

Meanwhile, Mehwish Hayat has starred in many popular Pakistani romantic dramas like Phir Chand Pe Dastak, Mirat-ul-Uroos, Ishq Mein Teray, Ru Baru and Anjum Shahzad’s highly successful family drama Kabhi Kabhi. She has also featured in several highest-grossing Pakistani films like Nahi Jaungi (2017), Load Wedding (2018) and London Nahi Jaunga and more.
