If you are a fan of rom-coms, then De De Pyaar De 2 can be a one-time watch for you. Headlined by Rakul Preet Singh and Ajay Devgn, the movie is trying to maintain a hold on the box office. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, De De Pyaar De 2 box office collection on day 6 stands at Rs 3.50 crore, which is now pushing the total collection to the Rs 47 crore mark.
Released on November 14, 2025, and helmed by Anshul Sharma, De De Pyaar De 2 is the sequel to the film of the same name. The movie delivered a decent performance over its opening weekend. However, there was a steep drop in earnings on the first Monday. Let’s take a look at the day-wise collection of De De Pyaar De 2:
De De Pyaar De 2 total box office collection: Rs 47.75 crore
Apart from Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh, two main characters from the film are R. Madhavan and Gautami. Following these, the movie also stars Ishita Dutta, Meezaan Jaffrey, and Javed Jaffrey in key roles.
The movie continues from where it previously ended. After Ashish (Ajay Devgn) finally convinces his own family to accept his relationship with the much younger Ayesha (Rakul Preet Singh), he faces an even bigger challenge — winning over her parents.
This is when Rakesh (R. Madhavan) and Anju (Gautami Kapoor) step into the story. The film is produced by T-Series Films in collaboration with Luv Films.
The review of De De Pyaar De 2 by India.com reads, “De De Pyaar De 2 has occasional charm, with strong performances from Madhavan, Gautami, Meezaan, and Javed. However, the lead pair’s underwhelming chemistry, inconsistent comedy, and a somewhat predictable story make the sequel feel like a half-baked continuation rather than a compelling addition. Overall, it is an average sequel with glimpses of fun and warmth but lacks the cohesion and spark of the original film.”
