The latest track in TV’s popular show Sasural Simar Ka has left the internet berserk. The new promo of the telly saga shows that Simar turns into a fly after being cursed by an angry saint. The actress Dipika Kakar and the show got trolled for using such crazy stints to get TRPs. Twitterati slammed the Indian television for steeping so low in the name of entertainment. However, the leading lady of the show is undeterred with all the trolls and pays no heed to it. Dipika while talking to a leading website talks about the latest sequence and the ongoing trolls on social media. Simar aka Dipika says, “Creatively, as an actor, I have no say in the story line and so, there are no reactions. I am narrated the script and I have to perform. When I heard about the upcoming track, I looked at it from Simar’s point of view and the real Dipika was somewhere in the back.”

Earlier, the telly show had followed the Game of Thrones way and had ripped off a teaser of the popular HBO show. However, they had received a lot of flak from fans of Games of Thrones for their attempt soon after. But Dipika doesn’t care about all the comments being received for her show.
While talking to indiatvnews.com, she said, “Many jokes are floating around — like how it has been copied from Game of Thrones, but they don’t affect me as our show has been a trendsetter in many ways.” Dipika further added, “As I said, I take it as a part of the success the show has gained. Many of our tracks have later become trendsetters on TV. When something is doing well, people are bound to pull it down.” (ALSO READ: ROFL! For the uninitiated, Sasural Simar Ka has been infamous for running bizarre concepts on the show. Right from witches, ghosts to the latest fly sequence they have done it all. The unrealistic story line of the show will make you search for your minds. In today’s time when films and TV shows focus on social issues through, this soap has taken a different path altogether.
The protoganist of the show says that these sequences only help push her boundaries as an actor. “It’s challenging as the tracks are definitely not things I believe in real life — from witchcraft to turning into a fly. But I love challenges and that’s what makes it more fun,” adds Dipika. She also reveals that the fly sequence will not affect her screen visibility.
