In the petition, Wankhede has sought compensation of Rs 2 crore, which he intends to donate to the Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital. The petition also states that the series “The Ba***ds of Bollywood” presents a misleading and negative portrayal of drug enforcement agencies, undermining public confidence in law enforcement institutions.
Given the backdrop of the widespread controversy, Wankhede also claimed that the case involving Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, is still pending in court. Linking the series to this case is a political or orchestrated effort.
