One of the most anticipated movies of the year is the Tamil film, Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 aka VIP 2, which is set to hit theatres on July 28 this year. Starring Dhanush in the lead and Kajol as an antagonist, fans are looking forward to the release of this much touted movie. Well, as you know the movie is said to have a bilingual release, and while the Tamil poster was out a few months ago, brand new motion poster of its Hindi equivalent, with a new title was unveiled recently. Speaking about the development, news agency IANS quoted Soundarya, director of the movie as saying, “It was a strategic move to make sure the film reaches across all states. With Kajol and Dhanush coming together in a movie for the first time, the title has to connect with the masses. Both the actors have a huge fan base in the North, so we thought of leveraging it thereby keeping a more relatable and easy name for the audience. The new poster has both Dhanush and Kajol wearing a stern look and avoiding each other’s glance, which gives the viewers a hint of the two having a face off in the movie. Samuthirakan, Saranya Ponvannan and Amala Paul will once again be reprising their roles in the second instalment. With the first installment of the movie being a huge success, a lot of people have their expectations pinned with this movie. The teaser of the film was released earlier this month, which gave us a glimpse of Dhanush in his kickass macho avatar. However, with Kajol missing from it, fans were left disappointed. The trailer and audio of the movie are set to release today and we can’t wait already.
