Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 9: Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna’s espionage drama hits jackpot on second weekend, earns half of Rs 100 crore

Dhurandhar witnessed a massive surge on its second Saturday, earning Rs 53 crore on day 9 and taking its total box office collection to Rs 292.75 crore.

It seems that the weekend magic did its work for Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar. The film, which has been in the headlines from the day it was released, enjoyed a massive boom in terms of collections on day 9, which also happened to be the second Saturday. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar day 9 box office collection was Rs 53.00 crore, which is indeed a huge number.

While it was anticipated that Dhurandhar would do its magic and draw audiences to the big screens at the start of the second week, no one knew that the film would hit a jackpot. Dhurandhar opened with decent numbers. The film minted Rs 28 crore on day 1 at the box office. Following this, there was a hike in numbers as Dhurandhar earned Rs 32 crore and Rs 43 crore on its first weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

Monday was a crucial day for the film. Despite a busy Monday, Dhurandhar maintained its momentum and minted Rs 23.25 crore. Over the next few days, which included the box office collections of days 5, 6, and 7, Dhurandhar earned Rs 27 crore respectively.

Finally, the hype, word-of-mouth, and social media buzz of Dhurandhar paid off, as on its second Friday, which happened to be the box office collection of day 8, Dhurandhar earned Rs 32.5 crore. Now, Dhurandhar box office collection on day 9 stands at Rs 53 crore.

With this, Dhurandhar’s total box office collection stands at Rs 292.75 crore. As the film is witnessing a massive hike in numbers, it is expected that there will be a huge increase in box office collection on Sunday.
