Dia Mirza's 'Happy Holi' wish is all about celebrating the festival of colours in an eco-friendly way
Regularly seen campaigning for the protection of wildlife and nature, Bollywood diva and environment activist Dia Mirza was seen wishing fans on Holi 2020 in a nature-loving way. Urging fans to go green, Dia’s wish was typical of all nature lovers ever and we simply love it.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Dia shared a collage featuring vibrant pictures of flowers, leaves, sun and sky, birds and a butterfly. She captioned the picture collage, “होली के रंग हमेशा हमारे संग! (Colours of Holi are forever with us!) Happy holi India #HoliHain #Holi2020 #Colours #ColoursOfNature #incredibleindia (sic).”
Outside the film industry, Dia is seen creating aggressive awareness for the cause to protect the elephants as it is close to her heart. The same is seen through the diva’s campaigns for the Wildlife Trust of India.
On the professional front, Dia Mirza was recently seen in Anubhav Sinha-directorial, Thappad. Talking about the film to a leading news agency earlier, Dia had shared, “It is my endeavour to be a part of human stories that reflect the truth and compel us to think and possibly even bring positive change. Thappad is one such film, a very powerful one.”
Actor Dia Mirza is just not a popular name on-screen, she’s also celebrated for her contribution to various social causes and being a voice that matters. During a promotional interview recently for Thappad, Dia opened up on her personal life, especially her divorce with Sahil Sangha. The actor announced that she and Sahil decided to get separated on mutual consent and are seeking a divorce. Dia hopes that her decision doesn’t become her identity and she’s seen beyond her divorce.
