Diljit Dosanjh’s acquaintances have shockingly claimed that he is married to an Indian-American woman and has a son in a feature published by The Indian Express for Sunday Express Eye. “An intensely private person, little is known about his family but friends say his wife is an American-Indian and they have a son, and his parents live in Ludhiana,” read the text on the feature.

During the promotion of Good Newwz, Kiara Advani unintentionally revealed that Diljit Dosanjh is a father. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, she hinted that she is the only one who doesn’t have a baby out of all the four cast members. She basically implied that even the ‘Crew’ actor had embraced fatherhood. “Very education for me, since I am the only one who is here not having a child, ” Kiara said.
Earlier, Diljit had said he had never experienced heartbreak in an interview with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia. He also talked candidly about how, as a young boy, he became estranged from his family. He said, “I was eleven years old when I left my home and started living with my mamaji (maternal uncle). I came to the city leaving my village behind. I shifted to Ludhiana. He said ‘send him to the city with me’ and my parents said ‘Yes, take him.’ My parents did not even ask me… Also, we didn’t have mobile phones back then, even if I had to call home or receive a call from my parents, it cost us money. So I started becoming distant from my family.”
Diljit is getting ready for Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila‘s premiere on Netflix. Based on the true account of the youthful assassination of the Punjabi musician and his wife, the movie will be released on April 12. Parineeti Chopra portrays Amarjot, his singer-wife. Mohit Choudhary, Saregama, Window Seat Films, and Select Media Holdings LLP are the producers of the movie.
