Diljit Dosanjh is no doubt everyone’s favourite! The singer-turned-actor has paved his path in the industry. However, for a while, Dosanjh has been making headlines due to professional and personal matters. While on the professional front, Diljit’s recently released Amar Singh Chamkila turned out to be a massive hit, the singer’s personal life is also in the news after a photo alleging him as a married man went online. The photo with Diljit’s alleged ‘wife‘ made rounds on the internet. However, there was a clarification against the photo, that the woman in the picture is not the singer’s wife, but a co-star, Oshin Brar. Now, in an interview with The Indian Express, Oshin, whose photos went viral as Diljit’s ‘wife’, has opened up and said that it seemed like a conspiracy against her in order to cut down the prospect of her and Diljit collaborating again.
During the interview with The Indian Express, Oshin said that she feels there is someone who doesn’t want her to work with Diljit again. The actor said, “I think someone didn’t wish me to do the movie promotions (for Mukhtiar Chadha) with him, even though I was the lead of the movie, and then someone didn’t want me to work with him ever again. I am still clueless about this behaviour and calls. It could be because I was just 19 and did both my debut projects with him (Diljit).”
She further added, “To be honest, it doesn’t really matter to me, I don’t need any fame out of it. I had such an amazing time working with him. I was only 19, and he helped me a lot during the shoot in understanding the movie character, I believe he didn’t change at all. He treated the entire cast with love and respect.”
Oshin also opened up about photos of herself with Diljit Dosanjh claiming him to be her husband. Refuting all the speculations, she said, “I have no clue why people thought I am his wife.”
Meanwhile, coming to Diljit Dosanjh’s work front, Dosanjh was last seen in Amar Singh Chamkila. Helmed by Imtiaz Ali, the movie also features Parineeti Chopra. The movie is a biopic of famous singer Amar Singh Chamkila, who was gunned down at a very young age because of the very raw songs he made.
