With Rs 11 crore in its kitty, John Abraham and Varun Dhawan starrer Dishoom is spreading cheers at the ticket windows. Blame it on the delicious duo’s incredible bromance coupled with the the action comedy genre that this film is, we hear money clicking at the box office. While the first day saw occupancy upto 30 percent. On day 2 the movie enjoyed even better response with occupancy soaring up to 40 to 55 per cent. The buzz around Salman Khan’s Sultan and Rajinikanth’s Kabali has died down a bit, naturally that has helped Dishoom gained maximum eyeballs. The only competition Dishoom has over the weelend is Steven Spielberg’s animated feature Big Friendly Guant. But those who savour Bollywood masala endeavour with bharpoor storytelling will naturally go for Dishoom. The day two collection for the film has crossed Rs 15 crore marl. And in spite of the mixed reviews it has bagged, Dishoom is standing rock solid at the box office. Over the weekend the film is expected to garner Rs 30 crore plus. Apart from John and Varun the film also features Nargis Fakhri, Jacqueline Fernandes and Akshaye Khanna. Parineeti Chopra’s item number jaaneman aah is also a thinh to watch out for in the movie. Film critic and film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to twitter to explain the math in terms of how the film has fared at BO.
