Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya’s wedding reception will be held in Mumbai tonight, but ahead of that, Divyanka is a bit miffed with the media. No, no, not for publishing her wedding picture from Bhopal, where she got married to Vivek, but because of something else. Apparently, a portion of the media posted pictures of Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya in their ‘new 3BHK house’. Now, Divyanka got really pissed and issued a statement on social media. Here’s why!

The said new home of Divyanka and Vivek is not new after all. It is Divyanka’s own home where she has been staying in Mumbai for the past seven years. The Ye Hai Mohabbatein actress has chosen not to reveal where she will be staying with Vivek and what the house looks like, which is perfectly fine! Here’s what Divyanka said in her statement today on Instagram, ahead of her wedding reception:

“@divyankatripathi: Dear #NewsMakers, This is my house I bought 7 years back. Not a new house! Please don’t make news out of any tidbit you get online. And where we’ll stay after marriage, where we’d go for honeymoon…. I don’t think we would ever want to share such private details. I respect your work and I cooperate…. But #Masala out of everything?! Take it easy people. We are a regular happily married couple like anyone else… We might deserve over attention but we don’t desire it. Also, a special thanks to all who showered us with love and blessings… That’s how we wanted to start our new life. Big hugs to all.”

Divyanka has clearly sugar-coated her statement to the media. We would say to her: We do know you have enjoyed the attention around your wedding, Divyanka. So, cheer up! And if you share so many pictures on social media, obviously people will be looking for more and more images from your personal life. You cannot blame the media or fans for it! Anyways, congrats to Vivek and you on the wedding.
