Salman Khan, who is currently shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai with Katrina Kaif in Abu Dhabi was also simultaneously prepping up for Remo D’souza’s dance film that he signed sometime back. It was being said that the superstar will immediately start shooting for Remo’s film, which is apparently titled Go Daddy. So it was quite surprising when Deccan Chronicle recently reported that Salman has put the film on hold as of now. According to the daily, he doesn’t think the character suits him. In fact, he has almost walked out of the project, and has suggested Varun Dhawan’s name for the role. Also Read - Antim: Salman Khan Requests Fans Not to Burn Crackers in Theatre, Shares Shocking Video

Well, turns out the report was false, as Remo himself has confirmed that Salman is very much a part of his film. Word also had it that Salman has signed Race 3. While the first two parts were directed by Abbas-Mustan, it was being said that the third one will be helmed by Remo. But that too is untrue, as the choreographer-director has clarified that he is not working on any other film, but the dance film with Salman. “I don’t know where this news is coming from. I am not involved with Race 3. So, I don’t know whether Salman Khan is a part of the film or not. Salman Khan is very much a part of my dance film where he plays the role of a father. He is a man of his words,” Remo was quoted. As for Race 3, the film will go on floors this year, and an official announcement on the cast will be made soon as producer Ramesh Taurani revealed to a daily, “There’s no confirmation yet. I can’t comment on it right now. But the film will go on floors this year and soon the announcement about the cast will be made.”

So there you are! All the confusion has been cleared from the horses mouth as they say.
