Happy Birthday Emraan Hashmi, the romance king of Bollywood! On his birthday, Hashmi surprised fans with his first look as Omi Bhau in Pawan Kalyan’s much-anticipated project, OG. The picture shared by the actor created a stir online with fans now eagerly waiting for more details to be unveiled about the film. In the movie, Emraan will essay the role of a gangster named Omi Bhau.

Taking to Instagram, Emraan shared his first look from the movie. In the poster, the actor can be seen having a beard and long hair, apart from a visible scar on his eyebrow. He is also seen smoking. On the poster, it was written, ‘Happy Birthday Omi Bhau’. Sharing the poster, Emraan wrote, “Gambheera, Suna hai tu Bambai Aa raha hai. Vaada karta hoon : hum dono mein se kisi ek ka sar zaroor katega #TheyCallHimOG”

The gangster drama film, directed by Sujeeth, who helmed Sahoo, marks the Telugu debut of Emraan known for Murder, portraying a negative character. As soon as the picture was shared online, fans started to spam the comment section. While one fan wrote, “Their face-off gonna create havoc.” Another commented, “Madly waiting to see this Clash. Seems like #Sujeeth Anna planning something Big & Exciting. @emraanhashmi look adhirindhi. (looks so good) Best looks for both the Hero & Villain. (sic)”

Meanwhile, during an interview with News18, Hashmi had earlier opened up on the film. He called the film filled with ambition, which is mounted on a big scale. Hashmi said, “It’s a pan-India film, and this is the audience who may have known me as an actor but have not necessarily seen my films. I also wanted to explore a larger audience and work in this unfamiliar territory and penetrate down South, something that I hadn’t done before.” Without revealing too much about the character, the actor added, “The character that I am playing and the world that Sujeeth has created for OG are very fascinating. I also feel fortunate working with Pawan Kalyan who has such an amazing screen presence.”
