Emraan Hashmi recently created quite a buzz with his cameo in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut web series The Ba***ds of Bollywood. The short appearance went viral on social media, earning laughs and praise from fans. However, not everyone at home was thrilled about the sudden attention, his own son found it a bit embarrassing.
In a recent interview, Emraan revealed that his son, Ayaan Hashmi, told him, “You have ruined things for me in school,” because classmates were now teasing him about his father’s viral scene. The jokes referred to Emraan’s cameo in the series, where a playful and slightly cheeky scene had gone viral online. Hashmi explained that Ayaan’s friends would make fun of him, even asking, “Why don’t you become an intimacy coach?” a nod to the character Emraan played in the cameo.
The scene itself features Emraan alongside Raghav Juyal in a light‑hearted segment, where Juyal’s character pays tribute to one of Emraan’s hit songs, “Kaho Naa Kaho” from Murder. It was inspired by a real-life event where a fan sang under Emraan’s building on his birthday, leading to a humorous expression that the writers adapted for the show. The clip quickly caught attention, with fans calling it one of the most memorable moments of the series.
The Ba***ds of Bollywood features a talented ensemble cast including Lakshya Lalwani, Sahher Bamba, Raghav Juyal, Bobby Deol, Rajat Bedi, Arshad Warsi, Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Anya Singh and Manish Chaudhari. The series follows the chaotic, humorous, and often exaggerated lives of Bollywood insiders, showcasing the glitz, glamour, and behind-the-scenes drama of the film industry. Through witty satire and meta-commentary, it highlights the absurdities of fame, star rivalries, and eccentric personalities while blending parody with real-life Bollywood references.
Emraan Hashmi’s brief appearance in Aryan Khan’s web series “The Ba***ds of Bollywood” sparked a mix of reactions, from widespread praise on social media to embarrassment at home.
