The legendary actor also took to his social media account to make a cryptic post about how those who help others do so without going loud about it. And now, it is revealed that Bachchan has been silently providing help to many people in Mumbai by distributing them ration kits and other essentials amid the nationwide lockdown to fight COVID-19. A report in Mid-Day reveals that Amitabh Bachchan has been taking care of people at the Haji Ali Dargah and the Mahim Dargah by constantly working with the Haji Ali Dargah Trust and the Pir Makhdum Saheb Charitable Trust to provide food to those in need. The actor is making sure that around 2000 kits are distributed every day with 20 at the Haji Ali Dargah and the rest 1800 to be sent to the Babulnath Mandir, Mira Datar Dargah, Kolsa Bunder, Lotus Colony in Worli and the premises of the Tata Memorial Hospital. The daily quoted Pir Makhdum who works with the Pir Makhdum Saheb Charitable Trust confirming the news. He said they have been distributing ration to various families after checking their ration cards or Aadhar cards. Volunteers who are helping in the process are taking all the precautionary measures and wearing gloves and masks to protect themselves from the virus.
