After romancing Aditya Roy Kapur in her recently released film Malang, actor Disha Patani is gearing up for yet another film directed by Mohit Suri. As confirmed by the director himself, Disha is a part of Ek Villain 2 that goes on the floors later this year. The film features John Abraham and Aditya in the lead and Disha is reportedly signed opposite the former. Also Read - Baaghi 3 Makers Trolled For Copying 'Do You Love Me' Featuring Disha Patani

A report in Mumbai Mirror quoted Suri saying Disha herself came to him and said she wants to do some action in films and perform stunts on screen and that’s when he thought of casting her in Ek Villain 2. The director said, “Disha is the first heroine who walked up to me and said, ‘I want to do more action, beat up people, perform stunts… kick some butt. Just the way boys do it in your films. I want to be the hero’. That’s when I asked her if she would do the Ek Villain sequel and she was game.” Suri added that Ek Villain 2 is an action franchise and Disha is going to have an ‘integral’ role in it. Her pairing with Aditya in Malang was appreciated but Suri seems to have changed things up for the audience by casting her opposite John this time. Ek Villain 2 is slated to hit the screens on January 8 next year and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures. The film also features another female lead apart from Disha who will be paired with Aditya. However, the hunt is on for the other female face. Various reports suggest that the makers want to have an equally tough woman who can perform action sequences in a go as the second lead. Who do you think will fit the bill here?
