‘Expendables 3’ to release in India on August 15

The distributors are looking at a wider release for the new film with a release in 4 languages including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

'Expendables 3' to release in India on August 15

Mumbai, Jun 10: ‘Expendables 3’, starring Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarznegger, Mel Gibson and Harrison Ford, is slated to hit Indian screens on August 15, the same day as Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham 2’.

The first intallment of the Ajay Devgn starrer was a huge hit, prompting Shetty to go ahead with the second part.
Similarly, Stallone has enjoyed great success with his ‘Expendables’ franchise, whose third part is being distributed in India by MVP Entertainment and PVR Pictures.

‘Expendables 2’ had grossed over Rs 11 crores from 800 screens on it’s opening weekend in 2012. The distributors are looking at a wider release for the new film with a release in 4 languages including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

“Stallone and Schwarzenegger have humongous fan following in India and the genre of the film suits the appetite of people here. We will be dubbing the film in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and are even hoping for a wider release this time around,” Deepak Sharma of PVR Pictures and Sunil Udhani of MVP Entertainment said in a joint statement.
