Actress Kavita Kaushik, who made her television debut with filmmaker Ekta Kapoor’s Kutumb, has got back at trolls who put her down for her flab a few months back, by posting a picture of herself in a bikini. The FIR actress also doled out some advice to people who only know how to ogle and judge others for their bodies. Kavita has earned herself praise for not being afraid to show her flaws and for encouraging others who are dealing with body-image issues. In a post she put on her Instagram page, Kavita can be seen wearing a bikini and doing a yoga pose, she captioned the post as, “Get over the physical bodies! Everyone has the same if you put in the required hard work! Also stop calling people thin or fat because our bodies are forever changing! Love your bodies fellow Indians instead of shaming someone else’s, that’s the reason why I see only foreigners doing yoga on the beach … we Indians are only busy ogling and judging! Apna sudhaar lo sidhaar jaane se pehle! P.S. – all those pointing to my flab few months back on the pic taken on the same beach can bite the sand now.” Also Read - Bigg Boss 14 November 8, 2020 Weekend Ka Vaar Highlights: Naina Singh Gets Eliminated From The House
In another post she put out she wrote about how right thinking can help the body attain good health and added, “Ye hai Gita ka gyaan mera nahi, but maine aazmaaya hai aur correct hai.”
A few months back, it was not all fit and fab for Kavita, but that did not stop her from posing in a bikini with what she calls “all her flaws”. In the post she put up, she encouraged others by saying, “Here’s to all women wanting to wear pretty bikinis but shy of their bodily flaws, who would know this better than me but you know what I realised we all have them, we all have some fat, some scars, some cervical spondylitis..oh sorry that’s just me who has it hope none of u do, some birthmarks that just don’t go no matter what ubtans and creams we apply!! Grr .. so what now? Are we gonna just waste our lives ogling at perfectly shaped models on the Internet and then criticising them? or are we gonna hit the gym, eat a healthy diet, achieve our best fittest body and embrace all other flaws n be our unique beautiful best and jump into the ocean!?”
